Spring Zoom Workshops 2021

Echinacea with Angela Daymond

This event runs from 2:00pm on the 8th March 2021, to 5:00pm on the 27th March 2021 and will take place at Your home. It is a Guild event being organised by Region 16 Coordinator, .

These workshops are all open to all members of Quilters Guild. To allow interaction, places are limited. They will all cost £10. (Extra charge for Star Sign Pattern, £3 for 1  or £25 for 12)

To book a place

§  email Judi O’May at judiomay@btinternet.com stating your QG Membership number and which workshops you would like to attend. She will then let you know if there is a space.

§  You will then need to pay for the class, preferably by bank transfer

§  You will then receive an acknowledgment your space has been reserved with the requirements list. Zoom links will be sent a few days before the class.

Angela Daymond  Monday 8th March 2pm – 4pm

Echinacea  A hand stitching workshop. A pdf pattern and requirements will be sent to participants before the class. The teaching session will be available on a secure YouTube channel for four weeks after the class to give you chance to complete your project.

Judi Kirk Saturday 20th March 10am -1pm

Quilted in a flash   Use the walking foot on your domestic machine combined with straight or decorative stitches to create a host of easy designs that will get your quilting finished easier and faster than you ever imagined!

Thread and needle choices will be discussed and there will be lots of examples to inspire you.

Claire Passmore Saturday 27th March 10am -12noon then 4pm -5pm

Star sign Mosaic  You will have the choice of which star sign to create. Each is a 12inch square. There is a £3 supplement for the pattern which Claire will post to each participant. You can also buy extra single patterns or the whole set for £25.Claire runs this class as a live interactive demonstration for the morning session with a short break. Participants are encouraged to chat and ask questions.

There is then time for you to work on your design before Claire will return at 4pm for a round up to share ideas and thoughts and answer any questions you may have.
